VERNA LAM

A consciousness, too unhoned, attempts to penetrate the substance of reality.  Before it knows, the grey engulfs it, the attempt is futile again.  Like you try to grip onto the present in the operating room, but you always lose it.  You fall into this realm untouched by physical dimensions where resistance was created.  It is a nothingness where it all begins and ends.  When it happens that you have overused the portal, you find yourself residing in a grey area of both dimensions.  It is a place of vastness and spiritual power, but also of danger.  Out of the grey, you find a passion much too powerful to be contained in your earthly being.  A kind of vitality blazing through death into infinity.
